Is this an original content or fandom zine?
This is an original content zine, and we want to keep it that way to avoid copyright issues in case the zine becomes permanently available in a print-on-demand format.✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Is this zine for profit or charity?
For charity! We are currently in the process of selecting a charity to donate to, but it will be trans or LGBTQ+ focused. So far the most popular suggestions have been The Trevor Project, Mermaids, and Trans Lifeline.✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥How will contributors be compensated?
Because this zine is for charity, contributors will not be compensated financially. However, all contributors will receive, at minimum, a digital copy of the zine. Depending on sales, we hope to provide contributors with a physical copy as well as any merch created.
✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Do contributors retain rights to their pieces?
Yes! All contributors keep the rights to their pieces, and are free to make their own prints or merch of them outside of this project. We just ask that they do not post them publicly until the zine's release!✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Can people with multiple or fluid identities join? What about transmasculine lesbians?
Absolutely! Anyone who considers themselves transmasculine can join! We are not here to gatekeep the transmasc community- so if you are transmasc lesbian, bigender, genderfluid, etc that is all fine. As long as you are comfortable with being called transmasculine, you're welcome here!✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥What is the minimum age for participants?
Contributors must be 16+. Mods must be 18+.✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Will there be email updates for people not interested in joining a discord server?
Yes! Only moderators are absolutely required to be on the discord server. There will be regular email updates for everyone, so if you choose not to join the discord server, you will still receive those updates.✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Will NSFW be allowed?
This is a SFW zine, however there are certain topics that may tread the line of what is considered SFW or NSFW. For example, we do not consider transmasculine chests NSFW, whether they are pre- or post-op. Some topics discussing violence may also be acceptable, IE talking about experiences of assault, but any such topics need to be approved by mods to make sure they’re acceptable.✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Will this zine be kickstarted?
No- the zine will be sold via a BigCartel storefront during a preorder period. Leftovers will be available once the initial run of sales have been produced and delivered.✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥Where can I order?
From Aug 10 - Sept 10 the zine will be available via our BigCartel storefront (digital zines, physical zines, and zine + merch bundles). We also have a ko-fi set up to allow for digital purchases without filling in an address and other personal information. Links to both sites are included in our footer, and will be posted to socials during the preorder and leftovers period.
